About Duquesa Sailing School and Charter
Operating out of the picturesque port of Puerta de la Duquesa on the beautiful Costa del Sol we enjoy excellent sailing weather all year round and can therefore give you the most varied sailing on offer with the ability to visit two continents and three countries (Spain, Morocco and Portugal) whilst learning to sail in some of the most beautiful blue waters in Europe.
We here at Duquesa Sailing believe that learning to sail should not only be rewarding,but should also be fun and enjoyable and to ensure this is the case our team of Instructors pride themselves on there friendly and professional approach to passing on there wealth of experience to you whilst onboard .
Gordon Hamill
Gordon has had over 25 years sailing experience, having sailed his own yachts and skippered charters extensively around Northern Europe and the Mediterranaen. His extensive knowledge of sailing both power and sail make him a valued member of the team here at Duquesa Sailing.
He is a qualified RYA Yachtmaster in both power and sail and as a qualified Cruising Instructor Gordon is also able to give onboard tuition to owners as well as crew, giving our existing services an extra dimension.
